Career: Bergren is a transfer from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she completed her undergrad in 2011 ... competed for three years in cross country and track & field with the Mustangs ... earned 7th place individual finish (20:46.2) in 2010 Big West Conference Championships while her team captured 2nd place ... placed 44th at Division I West Regional Cross Country Championships in 2010 ... overcame an injury to compete in both conference championship and regionals in 2010.
