Peter Lee began as an Academy of Art University assistant athletic trainer in June 2024.
Prior to ART U, Lee’s most recent student athletic trainer stint began with the University of San Diego in 2023. He traveled with the medical staff to provide healthcare coverage for USD football along with evaluating and providing treatment for student-athletes as well as managing emergency situations during practices and games.
Prior to a summer with City College of San Francisco, Lee spent the 2022-23 season assisting in coverage of 13 sports at Cal State San Marcos. His responsibilities there included creating and instructing student-athletes with rehabilitation programs, applying prophylactic care, and first aid coverage.
After earning his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness Specialist from San Diego State, Lee remained at SDSU to finish his master's degree in Athletic Training.
Lee is a certified member of the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and National Athletic Trainers' Association as well as first aid/CPR/AED certified by the American Red Cross.
