Showing out for his team in their last match of their 2023 season, Academy of Art men's soccer freshman midfielder Joey Glaab knocked in two scores to lead his team to a 3-0 victory over the Biola Eagles at Al Barbour Field on Nov. 4.

Glaab’s first goal was the one that gave the Urban Knights the lead, and in just the 10th minute Glaab sent the ball past the diving goalkeeper from a pass that was sent in by teammate and senior midfielder/forward Gilly Miller off of a free kick. In the 64th minute, Glaab would find his second score, heading the ball into the top left corner off of a freshman midfielder Heath Nager corner kick.

Glaab scored both of his shots on the day, improving his shot percentage (.316) and shot on goal percentage (.684) to finish off the season. In the match, Glaab recorded his first career game-winning goal and was a part of all 90 minutes in his 15th career full-match played.
