Graduate student outfielder Gabi Hirsch started the 2021 season highly with a highly productive four games against Dominican this past week.

Hirsch went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in ART U's opening contest and followed by offering a 2-for-4 performance that featured her first double of the year in the Mar. 5 finale. The Interior Architecture & Design major had two more two-hit efforts in her team's home debut on Mar. 6. Game one saw Hirsch go 2-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases then she delivered another 2-for-3 outing with a run scored in the series conclusion.

For the week, Hirsch hit .538 (7-for-13) with a double, three stolen bases, and two runs scored. She is now eight steals away from breaking the program's career record.
