San Francisco, Calif. -- AAU Women's Soccer team lost a close one against La Sierra University this past Sunday.  The Urban Knights came out aggressive on their home turf and were able to out-shoot their opponent 11-6, but unfortunately this was not enough as the Women lost the match 2-1.
  
     The Golden Eagles of LSU took an early lead by scoring in the first six minutes of play. They added to their lead by posting another goal late in the first half. Although the Urban Knights were able to hold the Golden Eagles scoreless during the second half, they could not capitalize on all of their shot attempts. The lone goal came in the 84th minute of play by AAU freshman midfielder Solveig Barnes and was assisted by freshman Morgan LeFever.
   
     Academy of Art freshman goalie Shelby Magallon kept her team in the game by posting three saves on the day.

    With the loss, the Urban Knight's record falls to 2-10-1 overall. AAU takes action again on October 25th in La Jolla, CA. They are set to take on the University of San Diego at 4:30 PM.
