Phoenix, Ariz. -- Academy of Art University had two more breakout performances from junior Irinel Zamfir and sophomore Denisse Correa at the 2009 Bronco Invitational earning them recognition on the Pacific West Conference Women's Cross Country Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll. The selections were announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 19, for races contested on Oct. 17.

For the second consecutive week, Zamfir paced the Urban Knights with a 4th place finish and a new personal best time of 19:25 on the 5k course at Baylands Regional Park. Correa took 16th place overall with a time of 20:03 (over 20 seconds less than her finish at the USF Invitational).

This is the second selection to the PacWest Weekly Top 10 for Zamfir and the third for Correa.
