San Francisco, Calif. -- For their performances at the University of San Francisco Invitational on Sept. 5, sophomores Amos Maru and Daveson Marindich of the Academy of Art University men's cross country team were both selected for the Pacific West Conference Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll.

Maru finished fourth overall in the 8k run held at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and first among Urban Knight runners with a time of 25:10.20.

Marindich earned a ninth place finish overall after posting a time of 25:30.20. He was the second Knight to cross the finish line behind Maru.

As a team, AAU finished fifth overall at the meet with 125 points and was just edged out of the fourth spot by Santa Clara (124).
