Chico, CA--- ART U senior Verity Peets was selected to the 38th Annual Coslet Classic All-Tournament Team. Peets averaged a tournament high 16.5 points over two games, and finished with a career high 20 points in ART U's loss to Chico State University on day one of the Carl's Jr Coslet Classic.

"Verity was a spark for us this weekend and I look forward to seeing her build off a great weekend," said Head Coach Lindsey Yamasaki  "Verity did a great job for us off the bench. I am proud of her for stepping up and playing with confidence," Yamasaki said.

"She has the capability of having double-double's every night if she comes in with that mindset," Yamasaki closed. 

Verity opened tournament play by going 8-11 from the field and grabbing a game high 10 rebounds to register her second straight double-double of the season.

Peets capped her weekend with a 13 point performance in the Urban Knights' final second, 63-65, loss to Sonoma State University.  Peets finished shooting 3-9 from the field and was a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line. The senior grabbed four rebounds and registered two steals in the loss.
