played a vital role in the Urban Knights' offense this week, earning him a place on the Pacific West Conference Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Mar. 8, for games played Mar. 1-7.
With Academy of Art University in action five times this week,
Worley tied his career-high for hits in a game twice. He had three singles against Cal State Monterey Bay on Mar. 4 and followed that with a pair of singles and a double in the final game versus Dixie State on Mar. 6. The Knights' number two batter is now riding a six-game hitting streak that began back on Feb. 20.
By the end of the week,
Worley was 11-for-19 (.579) with four runs scored, two doubles, a triple, and two runs batted in. The junior outfielder posted a .789 slugging percentage and a .579 on-base percentage. He also showed off his speed with a pair of stolen bases.
This is the first selection to the PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll for
Worley.
