The Academy of Art women's basketball team donated their time and artistic talents to help with the Okizu Foundations' 16th Annual
Art Inspiring Hope Gala. Okizu is committed to the continuing support of the childhood cancer community through its Oncology and Siblings camping programs, Family weekends, Bereavement programs, and Teen and Young Adult programs. Their goal is to provide peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational programs to meet the needs of all members of families affected by childhood cancer.
The Urban Knights contributed four center pieces that were placed on the tables during their annual Gala, which was held March 6th at Herbst Pavilion at Fort Mason Center. Each dollar raised at Art Inspiring Hope Gala goes directly to support a child's summer camp experience.
