**Special Note** A Fan Bus will be available to the women's soccer match on Sunday, Nov. 6, but you must sign up at Fan Bus Central to ride. The bus will depart 620 Sutter at 10:30 AM for fans to see both the women's and men's matches.

ON THE APPROACH
The Knights are in the midst of a three-game skid since their last matchup with Dominican, dropping both games on their road trip to Grand Canyon and also losing their match against BYU-Hawaii last week. The Urban Knights were without their regular goalkeeper for Tuesday's game against BYU-Hawaii, and the Seasiders took advantage, scoring three times on tough plays that even a first-string keeper would have trouble with. The Knights did get off nine shots, but none made it to the back of the net.

SUNDAY'S SENIOR SENDOFF
Sunday's game against Hilo will mark the final game for many seniors in their Urban Knight careers. Forwards Megan Bucci, Veronica Gutierrez and Emi Sullivan, midfielders Olivia Dupon, Erica Wheeler-Dubin, and Jessica Madrid, and goalkeeper Verity Peets will all be honored in a pregame ceremony. Congratulations to all the seniors!

MUCH NEEDED R&R
The Urban Knights had nine well-deserved days off to recuperate before facing off against the Lady Penguins. The list of injuries has grown down the stretch, and head coach Aileen Nasypany was grateful for some time to rest her players. Megan Bucci, Haily MacDonald, and now Jessica Bibby have all missed time due to injury, and Magda Torres was helped off holding her head last week, but is expected to play for the remainder of the season.

GRUDGE MATCH
The Knights and the Penguins had the unique opportunity to play each other three times this year, and after the Knights won the first game, the second one got a little rough, as it included 23 fouls on the Lady Penguins. Baptista, who scored the equalizer, was the recipient of two of the seven yellow cards for Dominican, which resulted in the Knights playing the final two minutes of the second overtime with a man advantage. Now with a win and a tie under their belt, the Knights are looking to finish off the season series against Dominican on a high note.

GOLDEN GATE THROWDOWN
The Urban Knights are undefeated this year against the Penguins in all three fall sports, winning all three volleyball matches, the first matchup of the men's soccer teams, and negotiating a win and a tie for the women's soccer team. The volleyball team won games on Sept. 17, Sept. 24, and Oct. 21. Men's soccer defeated Dominican 6-4 back on Oct. 15.

HELLO HILO
The Academy of Art-Hawaii Hilo matchup will be the final game of 2011 for both programs. Hilo faced Dominican on Wednesday, winning 3-2 on a head with 12 minutes left, and will travel to Belmont to face Notre Dame de Namur on Friday before finishing up their California road trip and their year at Academy of Art on Sunday. The Vulcans are led by the one-two punch of Kristine Pasek and Lindsey Poulsen, who went into Tuesdays game tied for the team points lead with 13 apiece.
