Phoenix, AZ -- For the seventh time this season, sophomore forward Alisa Griggs has been selected to the Pacific West Conference Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll. The Milwaukie, OR native who was one of six Urban Knights to score in double figures in ART U's 73-52 victory over Chaminade this past week, moves ever closer to the program record of 10 PacWest Weekly honors set by Jessica Nolan last season. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, Jan. 30 for games played Jan. 23-29.

Griggs was scoring early and often Jan. 23 against Chaminade. She had eight points in the first half will all of those coming 12 minutes into the contest. The sophomore forward also logged two steals in that period, helping contribute to 12 Academy of Art points off turnovers. The Urban Knights went to work inside during the second half and Griggs was at the forefront there, converting two layups in the half.

In the lone ART U game this past week, Griggs finished with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. She also shot 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from the field in her 22 minutes on the floor.

Griggs secures her seventh PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll selection of the season and the eighth in her career.
