LEADING OFF
The Academy of Art University baseball team played a rare mid-season non-conference series with Cal State Stanislaus, and after two disappointing losses, they finished strong with a comeback effort and eventual walk-off win against the Warriors. The Knights tied the game in the sixth inning (of a seven-inning game) to send it to extras and Ryan Ramirez hit a double to the wall in left center to score Lyle "Kalani" Brackenridge from second to win the game. The first two games of the series will be PacWest matchups, while the last two will be non-conference, as per the league rules.

WHOSE HOUSE IS IT?
The Urban Knights and Holy Names locked horns last month in a series that was technically the home series for the Hawks, seeing as both teams split time at Laney College. The Hawks took three of four in that series, and the Urban Knights are looking to establish their home field advantage. Austin Wood continues to lead the Hawks, hitting .310 with an on-base percentage of .422 for the season. Ben Gamba is leading the team with 18 RBIs, while Zach Korte (5.19) and Max Eggleston (4.95) are the team's top two starters on the mound.

CAN'T STOP THE HUSTLE
The Urban Knights now have two players in the top ten in the conference in stolen bases, with Stefen Henderson (17-18) nearly perfect and leading the PacWest while Brackenridge (11-15) has caught up lately to tie for the sixth-most steals. Brackenridge has also has reached base in 24 out of 25 games, including an eight-game hitting streak, and has hit .375 (39-104) since March 9.

ON DECK
After the series against Holy Names, the Urban Knights will face Azusa Pacific to end the season. The Cougars will come in on a Thursday-Friday matchup that will feature the Knights' Senior Day sendoff of Stefen Henderson, Ryan Donahoe, and Chris Holmes
