Newport Beach, CA --
Concluding an outstanding debut season in a new conference, Academy of Art junior transfer Alexis Moore capped it off with one more honor, earning a spot on the 2014 All-PacWest Third Team. Moore, who rejoined high school teammate Alex Carmon in the Urban Knights backcourt, was rejuvenated by the reunion and capitalized on the Knights high-scoring attack. The Long Beach, CA native was named to the PacWest Men's Basketball Weekly Final 5 on three separate occasions, and was named the PacWest Defensive Player of the Week on February 24th.

In the PacWest, Moore ranked third in the league in scoring, pouring in 17.6 points per contest while starting every game for the Urban Knights. He ranked second in the conference in total points, third in steals, fifth in defensive rebounds, and ninth in assists. He put up a season high of 31 points in an overtime game against BYU-Hawaii where the Knights set a new scoring record with 107 points.

For the Academy of Art, the Long Beach Poly HS grad set multiple Urban Knights records, breaking the single-season records for points (475), points per game (17.6), field goals made (164), 3-pointers made (59), rebounds per game (6.3), steals (51), and steals per game (1.9). He also burst into the top ten in career points scored in only one season, while also grabbing 169 rebounds from the guard spot, second on the team, and became only the third player in ART U history to dish out over 100 assists in a single season.

The junior narrowly missed the first triple-double in ART U history against UH Hilo, scoring 10 points, grabbing 10 boards, and dishing out nine assists, and also had four double-doubles on the year. He score in double-digits in 26 of the 27 games the Knights played, and broke the 20-point barrier on 10 separate occasions.

This is the first PacWest postseason honor in Moore's career.
