SAN FRANCISCO — The final chance to prepare for Pacific West Conference play is upon the Academy of Art University women's soccer team this week as the Urban Knights get set to play their final non-conference game of 2015 Tuesday at Cal State East Bay.

The Urban Knights (1-3) split their two non-conference games last week, earning the program's first win over a California Collegiate Athletic Association team with a 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Cal State Monterey Bay Tuesday before being edged 2-1 in double overtime Saturday by Montana State Billings. Tuesday's match at the Pioneers (1-4) is a rematch of last year's contest in San Francisco, where the two teams ended in a 3-3 draw.

PACWEST PLAYER OF THE WEEKThanks to playing a big part in the Urban Knights' first win of the season Tuesday, senior forward
Réa Laudat was
named Pacific West Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 7-13, as announced by the conference Monday. Laudat totaled three points (1 goal, 1 assist) in ART U's win
versus Cal State Monterey Bay. She tallied the game-winning goal in the 64th minute of the 2nd half and assisted on the game-tying goal in the 43rd minute right before halftime.

ABOUT CAL STATE EAST BAYThe Pioneers (1-4) have come out of the gate slow in 2015, losing four of their first five games. Most recently CSUEB fell 3-2 in double overtime to No. 23 Seattle Pacific on Saturday. Cal State East Bay is 1-2 versus the PacWest this season including a 3-0 win on the road over Notre Dame de Namur on Sept. 7.

Megan Ravenscroft leads the Pioneers with four points (2 goals). Sara Silva is close behind with three points (1 goal, 1 assist). Three different goalkeepers have seen time for CSUEB, with Amanda Valentine playing a bulk of the minutes while posting a 1.96 Goals Against Average.
