PacWest Conference Golfers of the Week
 
SAN FRANCISCO – Academy of Art women's golfer Crystal Wang was honored with her third PacWest Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday after taking first in the Art of Golf Classic.
 
In the program's first ever hosting of a tournament, the senior shot an even par (73) in the competition's first round. This was an impressive feat considering the cold and windy conditions. In the second and final round of 18 holes, Wang shot a 77 which was enough to maintain a three-stroke lead over Sonoma State's Haley Whitbeck and capture her third individual title.
