HOME FOR TWO
After playing three games in Hawaii, Academy of Art women's soccer will now host a pair of games against Dixie State and Concordia on Thursday and Saturday of this week.  
 
KICKOFF
Thursday's match against the Trailblazers will kick off at 10:30 a.m. with Thursday's contest beginning at Noon. Live coverage will be available at the links listed above, but as always, you can follow the Urban Knights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
 
KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
There are currently four Urban Knights who lead the team with one goal each. However, freshman midfielder Sydney Cooke and senior midfielder Abigail Chavez are tied atop the stat sheet with three points apiece. Furthermore, seven Knights have started all 10 matches this season while senior midfielder Laney Haviland and junior defender Chayney Mata are the team-leaders, each having played 905 minutes.

DIXIE BLAZING THROUGH CONFERENCE
Dixie State is currently 8-3 overall and is tied for third in the PacWest with 12 conference-points and a record of 4-2. The Trailblazers have also been hot as of late, winning six of their previous eight matches. Darian Murdock has carried Dixie State's offense this season as she leads the conference in every statistical category except for two. Murdock has 12 goals and two assists thus far for a total of 26 points.
 
EAGLES TIED FOR THIRD IN THE PACWEST
With a 4-2 mark in conference, Concordia is currently in a three-way tie with Dixie State and Fresno Pacific for third-place in the PacWest. The Eagles are coming off of a big offensive game in which they scored four goals against Chaminade, their largest output of the season. Carmany Jones is the team-leader with five goals to this point in the year, totaling 10 points overall. Before facing Academy of Art on Saturday, Concordia will take on Holy Names on October 12.

PREVIOUS MATCH: KNIGHTS EDGED 1-0 BY LATE HPU GOAL
Oct. 5 - In their final match on the Hawaiian Islands, Academy of Art squared off with Hawaii Pacific in what would turn out to be a 90-minute, defensive-struggle. However, the Sharks managed to put one on the board late in the second half, taking the match 1-0.

LOOKING AHEAD
After Saturday's match against the Eagles, Academy of Art will head to Fresno Pacific on Thursday, October 19 before returning home to host Holy Names on th 21st.
