OFF TO THE ZU
Academy of Art heads to No. 1-ranked Azusa Pacific this week, coming off of a four-game sweep over Dixie State. The Urban Knights currently have a six-game winning streak, the longest active streak in the PacWest.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Senior outfielder Evan Ray currently leads the team with a .313 batting average and his four home runs are also a team-high. On the pitching end, the Urban Knights have multiple strong performers: junior right-hander Ben Kaser leads the team with a 2.18 earned run average, while senior lefty Alex Fernandez has a 2.93 ERA. Junior right-hander Angel Mora has also experienced a strong start to the season, posting a 3-0 record with a 3.00 ERA. Furthermore, he has only allowed 14 hits in his 27.0 innings pitched and the opposing batters are only hitting at a .154 clip. Lastly, he leads the team with two complete games.
 
COUGARS RANKED NO. 1 IN THE NATION
With a 20-2 overall record and a 10-2 conference mark, Azusa Pacific is currently ranked as the top Division II team in the country. Their only two conference losses have come against Fresno Pacific and Dixie State. The Cougars currently have five players batting over .300 including Pablo O'Conner who was picked as the PacWest Preseason Player of the Year. O'Conner is currently batting .397 with five home runs, five doubles, and 14 runs batted in. The senior also boasts a .506 on-base percentage.

March 13 - Academy of Art put together a massive offensive-output in Monday night's series finale against Dixie State. The Urban Knights exploded for 11 runs to hand the Trailblazers their first-ever four-game sweep in conference-play.
