ART U FACES DOMINICAN AND HOLY NAMES
After a successful six game home stand, Academy of Art will play their first away game since Dec. 8, starting with Dominican on Jan. 17 and continuing with Holy Names on Jan. 19.

KNIGHT WATCH
Coming off a game where they out-rebounded
Fresno Pacific an overwhelming 43-25, ART U is allowing the second fewest rebounds in the conference, holding opponents to an average of 30.1 rebounds per game. The Urban Knights average 35.1 rebounds per game, second in rebound margin (5.0) for the PacWest only behind first place Point Loma. ART U holds opponents to the second lowest field goal percentage in the conference at 41.5 and allows the third fewest points per game, conceding 66.9 on average.
Junior forward
Andrija Blatancic is ART U's leading scorer at 17.8 points per game, third highest in the PacWest. On
Jan. 12, Blatancic collected 23 points and 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season. The Howard College transfer is also averaging a team high 8.4 rebounds per game. Senior center
Cameron Niven continues to consistently produce, coming off an 11 point eight rebound game. Niven is ART U's third highest scorer, averaging 7.6 points per game. The senior center was one of three Urban Knights to score 11 points against FPU, matched by sophomore guard
Stefan Milivojevic and redshirt sophomore guard
Dante Williams.
PENGUINS ON A SLIDE
Dominican started the season hot, winning four of their first five games, including a 56-53 victory over Cal State East Bay. The Penguins cooled off when conference play began, only collecting wins over Notre Dame de Namur and Hawaii Pacific while losing nine, and are currently on a three game losing streak. DUC is lead by Cedric Thomas, who is averaging 17.0 points per game. The Penguins are 13-3 all-time against the Urban Knights, but have lost the two most recent meetings.
HOLY HAWKS
Holy Names started their 2018 season with a pair of loses, coming from Stanislaus State and Cal State East Bay at the Veteran's Day Classic. The Hawks picked up their first win on Nov. 15 versus Cal State Monterey Bay 77-71, before experiencing a four game losing streak. HNU snapped the losing streak with a 71-58 win over Dominican and went on to win three of their next four games with the only loss coming against No. 20 Chaminade. A tough three game stretch followed, as the Hawks lost three straight to the first, second, and third place teams in the PacWest. Recently, HNU has bounced back and won two games against Azusa Pacific and Biola. Alonzo Taylor is the Hawks leading scorer, averaging 14.1 points per game. HNU is 5-9 all-time against ART U and lost the previous meeting 69-66.
KNIGHTS OUTSHINE SUNBIRDS
In their most commanding win of the season, Academy of Art men's basketball took down Fresno Pacific 75-52 to end their six game home stand on a big win. The Urban Knights dominated the boards, out-rebounding FPU 43-25 led by junior forward
Andrija Blatancic's team high 11 rebounds. Blatancic complemented his 11 rebounds with a team leading 23 points for his fourth double-double of the season.
