The last match of the season is soon to arrive, with the Urban Knights hosting Point Loma this Saturday, Nov. 9 with ART U recognizing their graduating class of graduate student goalkeeper Nicole Peoples, senior midfielder Valeria Perez Rivera, senior defender Haley Vaughan, senior defender/forward Halldóra Einarsdóttir, and senior defender Anna Maggi-Brown for Senior Day prior to the kickoff.

KNIGHT WATCH
With a new tie for the lead in points on the squad, sophomore forward Jade Alverio has entered the picture as she is the most recent goal scorer for ART U after knocking in a score against Westmont on Nov. 2. Alverio's goal was created by a Perez Rivera pass towards the right side of the box where Alverio collected the through ball and struck it towards the top left of the net. Over guarding the net all season long as been Peoples, who will be competing in her last collegiate match this Saturday. Entering the match, the ART U goalkeeper in Peoples leads the conference in saves per game with her 7.57 average, while additionally ahead of the PacWest in total saves with 106 to date, ending her career with the third-most saves all-time in program history.
PASSING POINT LOMA
Currently in second place in the PacWest Conference, ranked No. 20 nationally, and looking to find their way into the top spot are the Sea Lions who currently hold a 11-2-1 overall and 8-1-0 conference record. PLNU is coming off three-straight victories while previously dropping a match to No. 6 Concordia just less than a month ago on Oct. 12, and will additionally compete with Fresno Pacific prior to their match with ART U on the evening of Nov. 7. With 20 members of Point Loma scoring at least one point, Alana Diaz leads the Sea Lions with 11, while five others have seen six or more in 2024. Julia Pinnell will be in net as she has been the starter all season long, giving up just seven scores with 27 saves over the course of the campaign.
APU GETS AHEAD EARLY TO SEE VICTORY OVER ACADEMY OF ART
Goals seemed to come early and often for Azusa Pacific in the penultimate match of 2024 for Academy of Art women's soccer on Nov. 4, as the Cougars set a high bar early and didn't relent while going on to take the match from ART U by a final of 4-0 in Monday's Pacific West Conference battle.
