Biography

2017: Mike was one of only two players to start all 50 games for the Urban Knights. He hit .259 with nine doubles and 14 RBI. Maleski also scored the third-most runs for the team with 20 and led the team in stolen bases with seven.

2016: In his first season with ART U, Maleski tied for second-least amount of errors on the team (2) while posting a .978 fielding percentage...played in 35 contests while starting 22...produced a .241 batting average (21-for-87) and totaled 12 runs batted in, two doubles, and one home run. 

University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg: Maleski is a sophomore transfer from the University of Pittsburgh Greensburg...was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Newcomer of the Year and was placed on the all-AMCC third team...was twice named AMCC Player of the Week and led the team with a .403 batting average...owned a .466 on-base percentage while slugging .581 with 14 doubles, three triples, one home run and 24 runs batted in...Bobcats won a school-record 24 games in 2015...made it to the semifinals of the AMCC Conference Tournament.
 
Plum Senior High School: Attended Plum Senior High School in Pittsburgh, Pa. and graduated in 2014...during his three letter tenure, he had a .487 batting average in 2013 and a .357 average in 2014...was named to the Student Athlete Leadership Academy in 2013, the First Team All-Conference Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Quad A in 2013 and the Second Team All-Conference WPIAL Quad A in 2014.

Personal: In 2012 led the Plum Legion Team with a .667 batting average...enjoys sports, music, photography, filmmaking, and art...his family includes parents Stephanie and Michael Sr. and sister Miranda.
