2018: 2017-18 Academic All-PacWest, 2017-18 D2ADA Academic Achievement Award ... Appeared in seven games and collected five strikeouts.

Laney College: Ben played two years at Laney College and graduated in 2016. Prior to Laney College, Ben played a year of club baseball at Oregon State University.

High School: Ben attended El Cerrito High School where he played two years of varsity baseball, one year of varsity golf, and graduated in 2013.

Personal: Ben was born October 12th, 1994 in Berkeley, Calif. to Walter Clegg and Mary Reid. Ben's favorite movie is The Big Short and his favorite type of food is barbeque. He is a Communications and Media Technologies major.
