Biography

2017: Redshirted

2016: In his first season with the Urban Knights, Rost appeared in seven games while making five starts including one complete game...in 21.0 innings pitched, he allowed 38 hits and struck out 10 batters.

Solano Community College: Rost spent three years at Solano Community College and redshirted in 2013...was part of SCC's Bay Valley Conference championship team in the 2015, helping lead them into the regional playoffs...played multiple roles on the Falcons' staff, making 17 appearances, starting four games and earning a save...totaled 33.0 innings pitched and struck out 20...led the Bay Valley Conference his freshman year with a 1.49 ERA and struck out 17 while going 2-1 with a save...in 2014 earned the Tug McGraw Award for most outstanding pitcher.

Dixon High School: Lettered four years at Dixon High School...freshman year batted .358 and had a 3.32 earned run average...senior year, batted .506 and had a 0.83 earned run average...was named to first team All-League as a freshman and a senior. 

Personal: Grew up in Dixon, Calif...enjoys watching movies, T.V. shows, producing hip hop and EDM music, playing guitar, and hanging out with family and friends...his parents are Julie and Steve Rost and his siblings are Emily and Allison.
