Saledad High School: Farfan was a three-time all-state and all-league player and was thrice named MVP of Mission Trail Athletic League and County...he batted .479 with 24 doubles, 10 triples and seven home runs while carrying a .704 slugging percentage and .552 on-base percentage during his high school career....also helped lead the Aztecs to three straight California Interscholastic Federation Central Coast Section tournaments...compiled a 25-4 career pitching record with a 1.67 ERA and a 3-to-1 strikeout-to-walks ratio.

Personal: Farfan was a three-time national champion with the Lamorinda Monarchs and is son to Linda Carillo and Eddie Farfan in Soledad, Calif...enjoys playing poker, surfing, hiking, and poetry.
