Biography

2016: Lopez earned a career-high three wins in 2016 while starting four games and appearing in 18 (also a career-high)...posted a 5.40 earned run average and a .337 batting average against.

2015: In his sophomore season, Lopez started seven games while appearing in 12 games overall...compiled a 7.38 earned run average while allowing 31 earned runs in 58.0 innings pitched.

2014: Posted a strong debut season with ART U, appearing in 14 games while making eight starts and posted a 4.81 earned run average..in 58.0 innings pitched, allowed 68 hits and struck out 11 while only allowing eight walks.

Salesian High School: Lopez was a three-year letterwinner in baseball at Salesian High School and graduated with senior honors...awarded First Team All-League honors his senior year of high school...had a pitching record of 9-1 during his junior season.

Personal: Joshua Lopez was born in Oakland, Calif...parents are Michael Lopez and Kay Casimere-Lopez...has one sibling, Olivia Lopez, who played two years of volleyball at Cal State, Monterey Bay.
