2017 (T&F): Posted an indoor personal best in the 1000m (2:42.44) at the Spartan Regional Invite and added a season-best in the 5000m (15:56.88) at the Great Dane Classic ... ran an outdoor personal record in the 800m (2:03.81) and 1500m (4:13.60) at the Kim Duyst Invite and in the 2 mile (11:18.08) at the SF State Distance Carnial as well .... offered outdoor season-bests in the 5000m (16:02.80) at the Hornet Invite and the 10,000m (32:29.46) at the PacWest Championships.

2016 (XC):  2016-17 Academic All-PacWest ... competed in six meets ... ran an 8k season-best 26:27.7 at the Capital Cross Challenge on Oct. 1 ... highest finish was 11th at the Speedway Meadow Duals on Sept. 15 ... was a crucial fifth qualifier for ART U in both postseason meets.

2016 (T&F): 2015-16 Academic All-PacWest ... set program record in 10,000m (32:29.13) at PacWest Championship on Apr. 29 ... posted personal records in the 5000m (15:39.24) at the SF State Distance Carnival and 800m (2:05.32) at the Johnny Mathis Invitational.

2015 (XC): Redshirted as a sophomore.

2015 (T&F): Set a personal record in the 1500m (4:15.68) at the SF State Distance Carnival.

2014 (XC): 2014-15 Academic All-PacWest ... competed in seven meets ... ran an 8k season-best 26:03.9 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 18 ... had his top placement (7th) come at the SF State/Cal State East Bay/Academy of Art Tri-Meet on Sept. 18 ... started season as PacWest Freshman of the Week (Week of Sept. 9).

High School: Bermudez was a four-year varsity letter winner in cross country and track & field at Costa Mesa High School ... two-time cross country & track team captain ... personal records of 4:25.40 in 1600m, 9:37.58 in 3200m ... two-time All-League ... Freshman of the Year (2010-11) ... Coach's Award and MVP award ... Top 10 school times in 3 mile, 1600m, 3200m ... Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist.

Personal: Brett Bermudez was born October 17, 1996 in Newport Beach, CA ... parents are Angela and Gary Bermudez ... has one brother, Blake ... enjoys collecting Coca-Cola cans/merchandise and all kinds of music (especially international) ... Animation & Visual Effects major.
