OAKLAND, Calif. – It was a wild pair of games at Laney College, featuring plenty of offense for both Academy of Art and Central Washington.

GAME 1:Â
Similar to Friday night's game, the Urban Knights found themselves trailing 3-0 after the first inning. ART U would would score one of their own in the bottom of the inning and add three more in the second to take a 4-3 lead, but CWU scored three more in the top of the third to lead 6-4.

Academy of Art would slowly come back however, scoring a run in the fourth and seventh innings to tie the game.

The contest entered the ninth inning tied at six runs apiece, bur Central Washington managed to knock in two runs in their half of the inning which ART U could not reciprocate. The final score was Central Washington 8, Urban Knights 6.

Game 2:Â
The second game of the double header was slightly calmer than the first as neither team scored in the opening two frames.

ART U broke through for the first runs, scoring two in the third inning and would hold a 2-0 lead until the fifth when the Widcats cut the deficit in half at 2-1. CWU momentarily tied the ballgame 2-2 in the top of the seventh, but ART U recaptured their advantage in the bottom of the frame.

Central Washington scored once more in the top of the eighth however which tied the game at 3 runs each.

The ballgame was forced into extras tied a three, but the Urban Knights were able to walk off in the 11th when senior infielder
Brett Adami doubled into the left-center field gap to score junior catcher
Zack Trueblood from first.

Overall, Adami was 5-for-8 on the day with a run batted in and a run scored. Senior infielder
Tyler Strawn also had a productive day at the plate, going 4-for-9 with a pair of runs batted in during game one.

On the other side of the ball, freshman right hander
Daniel Farfan had an excellent start in game two, tossing 7.0 innings while striking out five and allowing seven hits, one walk, and just two runs (one earned). Junior
Josh Lopez had a strong 4.0 innings in relief as well. The right hander went 4.0 innings while giving up six hits and one earned run on three strikeouts.

ART U is back in action on Thursday when Fresno Pacific comes to town for a four-game series to open up conference play. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on March 3.
