2016 GCAA Division II PING All-Region Team
 
SAN FRANCISCO – On Monday, Oskar Frick became the first Academy of Art men's golfer to be named to the Golf Coaches Association of America Division II PING All-Region Team.
 
During the regular season, Frick was one of the Urban Knights' most consistent golfers. The Stockholm, Sweden native finished within the top ten in his first two tournaments and the low thirties in the final two.
 
Frick also had a strong showing at the PacWest Conference Championship, leading the team with a 12th-place finish while the team placed sixth. After being ranked as the No. 2 seed amongst individuals, the sophomore became the first ART U men's golfer to be selected to compete in the NCAA Super Regionals.
 
At the tournament, Frick climbed the standings every day and finished tied for 29th. After shooting four over in the first round (75), he improved to 72 strokes for each of the final two days.
