2022 CSC Academic All-District Teams (Full Release)
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Anchoring Academy of Art women's soccer both on and off the pitch, senior defender
Britney Flint and redshirt sophomore forward
Hannah Moore have captured postseason honors as the duo was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Selections announced by CSC on Tuesday.
The 2022 Academic All-District women's soccer teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Perhaps the most dominant presence on the ART U defensive line, Flint started all 18 ART U matches this season, one of three Urban Knights to do so, competing every minute of the campaign for a total of 1,620 minutes played. She memorably scored her first career points this season, notching an assist
against Lincoln on Oct. 12 before scoring on a free kick
later in the year against Holy Names on Oct. 23. To go along with her 3.60 grade point average in the School of Graphic Design, Flint became just the second Urban Knight to eclipse the 6,000 minutes played mark in the closing moments of her final collegiate match on
Senior Day.
One of the top offensive threats for the Urban Knights, Moore appeared in all 18 matches for ART U while starting in 17 contests, logging a total of 1,432 minutes of game action. Moore was responsible for the first Academy of Art goal of the
season on Aug. 27 against UC Santa Cruz, and after adding another against Holy Names also on Oct. 23, Moore ended as ART U's top scorer with two goals and one assist for five points (all career highs). In addition to her nine shots on the season, four of which were on goal (both numbers one shy of Flint's team highs), Moore has accumulated a 3.73 GPA in the school of Architecture.
These are the first CSC Academic All-District honors for Flint and Moore in their respective careers.
