A strong performance in a team victory and a career milestone highlighted another impressive week from Academy of Art volleyball graduate student outside hitter/right side Maya McClellan to close out October.

Starting with a 3-0 victory over Concordia at home on Oct. 23, McClellan led all players with 10 kills (her sixth straight match in the double digits) while adding eight digs, two assists, two service aces, and two blocks (one solo, one assisted). The Interior Architecture & Design major then provided 11 digs, seven kills, three service aces, and one assist four days later versus Fresno Pacific on Oct. 27. Midway through the second set, she achieved a total few have when she simultaneously sent down her 1,000th collegiate kill and 300th of the season.

McClellan remains fourth in the Pacific West Conference in both kills (3.58) and points (4.18) per set.
