Excelling in a trio of events for his 2023-24 debut, Robin Black not only anchored NCAA Division II's fastest 4x400m relay time of the season, but added top 10 Indoor Nationals provisionals in both the 60m and 200m at the GVSU Holiday Open on Dec. 8.

The Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media major emerged from the 60m final with the individual victory, going 6.77 to take the ninth position in the country while also putting himself fifth in the nation with a 21.31 in the 200m. The day finished on a punctuation note as Black joined with Shareez Hamm, Omodiaogbe Oboh, and Josh Marlin to produce a 3:10.90 in the 4x400m relay for the best overall thus far in December action.
