Freshman Amelija Supulniece posted two dominant wins in her singles and doubles matches this past week for Academy of Art women's tennis against Stanislaus State on Feb. 16.

The Urban Knights' first match of the season against a Pacific West Conference opponent saw the Supulniece and junior Erica Hellbe duo see victory in their 6-2 contest against the Warriors' Zuzanna Dziewiecka and Emma Yu on Court 1 to clinch the doubles point for ART U. Supulniece then followed it up with her second match of the day, where she also took down Dziewiecka on Court 1 in singles action with a 6-0, 6-1 score to record the first singles point of the day for the Knights.
