Making important contributions both offensively and defensively, Academy of Art volleyball junior right side/middle blocker Katherine Von Kraut pushed the Urban Knights to a home victory over Hawaii Pacific this past week.

In ART U's Pacific West Conference rematch with UH Hilo on Oct. 1, the Fashion Design major put down 11 kills with a .364 hitting percentage while matching her season-high of five block assists. Four days later on Oct. 5 against HPU, Von Kraut made it back-to-back matches with double-digit kills as she connected on 11 once again, adding two block assists and one solo block.

Von Kraut currently leads Academy of Art with 125.5 points scored as well as 31 block assists and ranks second in blocks per set (0.69).
