Academy of Art University Athletics

This past week on Oct. 23, Academy of Art men's soccer sophomore midfielder Joey Glaab put away two scores to help boost his team over Cal Maritime with a 4-2 final score. 

Giving the Urban Knights their first lead of the day was Glaab, who scored a tap-in right in front of the net after he collected the ball in off a double-assist from his teammates freshman midfielder Keita Goto and junior forward Kristian Lonvig in the 22nd minute. 

The Industrial Design major knocked in his second tally in the latter half of the match, as he gave his squad some insurance after sending a header towards the left post that found its way in the net off a junior forward Adrian Lechuga corner kick. 

The match against the Keelhaulers saw Glaab’s third two-goal showing in his collegiate career.
