Senior guard Rodney Munson contributed to Academy of Art men's basketball in a big way this past week with his strong play in the Urban Knights’ game against Chico State on Nov. 16.

In the contest with the Wildcats, Munson scored 19 points, his most thus far into the season, while shooting 7-for-13 (.538) from the field. In addition, Munson brought in seven rebounds to maintain his 6.0 per game average and tie his season-high in a game, while collecting two steals and dishing out two assists.

In the Pacific West Conference rankings, the New Orleans native now ranks all over the leaderboards in numerous categories as he is listed as 10th place in points per game (15.3), 15th in rebounds per game and also fifth among guards (6.0), seventh in field goal percentage (.516), seventh in minutes played per game (33.3), and ninth in steals per game (2.0).
