A catalyst on both ends of the court, Academy of Art women's basketball sophomore guard Anna Fornells helped the Urban Knights to their sixth win of the season, a 67-62 victory over UC Merced, this past weekend.

In the lone game of the week on Dec. 1, the Interior Architecture & Design major delivered a season-high 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field while filling the stat sheet with three rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Six of her 13 points came in the fourth quarter including back-to-back baskets that separated ART U from UCM with just under four minutes left.

Through the first seven games of the season, Fornells ranks seventh in the Pacific West Conference at 2.0 steals per game.
