On the week, senior guard Rodney Munson led his team in both contests, and was the focal point of the offense for Academy of Art in taking down Biola on Jan. 2. 

Munson, who averaged 20.5 points per game against Biola and Point Loma, was on fire from the field, especially from 3-point-range as he dropped 9-of-13 of his shots. Shooting 13-for-23 overall, the native of New Orleans additionally collected 4.0 rebounds per game, while dishing out 2.0 assists per contest, all while he was out on the court for an average of 36.5 minutes.

Hanging with the best scorers in the conference, Munson’s season average in scoring now ranks at 16.4 points per game, third place overall in the Pacific West Conference ranks. The Communications & Media Technologies major’s strong shooting also puts him in second in 3-PT Field Goal Percentage (.424) and sixth in Field Goal Percentage overall (.464).
