Freshman guard Czar Robotham provided efficient offense and ball distribution for the Urban Knights in the final two non-conference games this past week. The Las Vegas, NV native averaged 11.5 points per contest, 4.5 assists per game, and a Pacific West-leading 2.5 steals per contest.
Against Cal Maritime on Dec. 29, Robotham scored 11 points off the bench on 5-of-10 shooting from the field. He made an instant impact with a 3-pointer less than five seconds after checking into the game and later in the second half his layup capped an 11-0 burst by ART U.
The next evening, Robotham would achieve season-highs in both points (12) and assists (8) at Holy Names. His eight assists (six of which came in the first half) were the most by any Academy of Art player so far this season. The freshman guard, who made his first start of the year, played a key role by either scoring or assisting eight of the Knights' baskets in the opening period.
