Named an ART U Athlete of the Week for the third time in the 2024-25 campaign from women’s tennis, sophomore Amelija Supulniece has been honored after coming out triumphant in both matches she had this past week.

Paired up with sophomore Estelle Najean in doubles, the duo kept the Urban Knights competitive fighting for the doubles point as they defeated Dominican's Gina Dudley and Sofia Acuna on Court 1 with a close 6-4 result on Apr. 6.

In singles, No. 20 Supulniece continued her dominant run, winning her ninth straight match on the singles courts after taking down No. 19 Audrey Rafols with an impressive 6-2, 6-0 score.
