Cartoon has helped lead the team all season, and came up with a big singles win in her match last week. The junior transfer has not only been an asset playing wise, but she is a leader on the team as well.
In the Match against Dominican this past week, Cartoon competed for the Knights in the No. 1 singles slot. She got things started for her team when she came away with a big victory over her opponent, winning with scores of 7-5, 6-2.
Cartoon paces the team with a 5-1 overall record, and is on a five game winning streak in singles play. On the doubles side of the game, Phukchampa helps any player she is teamed with as she also has a winnig record in doubles play.
