Kennedy Kurgat, who has been a consistent force this season for the Urban Knights, earns his second Athlete of the Week honor. This past weekend, during the Johnny Mathis Invitational, Kurgat set a season best in both the men's 400m run and 1,500m run.

The junior's time of 50.28 earned him a third place finish in the 400m, less than one second behind a division I runner from Cal Berkeley. Kurgat also placed third in the 1,500m run, finishing in a time of 3:55.66.
