In his final match of the season Matt Garcia concluded his ART U career tied for 16th place at the Pacific West Conference Golf Championships. Dixie State College hosted the 54-hole, two day event, held at Sunbrook Golf Club on April 18-19.
Garcia fired a par-72 in the opening round. He followed it with a three over par-75 to close day one in a five way tie for 10th place, with a three over-147.
Despite carding a final round of 80, the senior earned ART U's highest finish in the 45-player field, tying for 16th place. On the whole, the senior registered 9 birdies on the par-72 6,875-yard course.
