Margret Thorolfsdottir continued her rise to the top of the Academy of Art scoring charts with two more goals last week against Notre Dame de Namur. Thorolfsdottir scored in the 15th minute of Thursdays matchup, with the opening goal in what ended up as a 2-2 2OT tie. She struck again in the second match on Saturday, scoring in the 14th minute to put her at 12 points on the year, tied with Hannah Emmett's 12-point mark set in 2010.
Thorolfsdottir has scored six goals on the year, and earned her third PacWest Top Ten Honor Roll selection, announced on Monday. She currently ranks first on the Urban Knights, and her six goals rank fifth in the PacWest. She is now alone at the top of the single-season goals chart for the program's short history, and there are still six games left on the season.
