Junior guard Ameer Shamssud-din scored 32 points in the loss to UC San Diego last Saturday, his second straight game in double figures for the Urban Knights. It marked the first time an ART U player topped the 30-point plateau this season, and only the third time in program history. 

Shamssud-din played all 40 minutes on Saturday, going 12-for-17 from the floor and 4-for-7 from beyond the arc. He also got credit for dishing out three assists and three rebounds. He dropped 25 in the first half, a program record for before the break, and accounted for almost two-thirds of the Urban Knights first-half point total.
