Freshman guard Aaron Anderson has become a key contrubutor off the bench for the Urban Knights, breaking out against The Masters with a career-high 13 points. His previous high was only four points, and he also had four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and added a block to his stat sheet.
Anderson was known primarily as a defense-first guard while at San Francisco's Archbishop Riordan High School, but has started to score in an Urban Knight uniform. He also shot 7-of-8 from the free-throw line, which was key down the stretch against the Mustangs. Anderson was averaging 11.4 minutes per game, but was in for 26 productive minutes against The Masters to up his minutes to 12.9 per contest.
