Ameer Shamsud-din broke the 200-point barrier for the season this past week against Dixie State and Cal Baptist, averaging 18.5 points per game in the Knights two PacWest matchups. He dropped 28 in the game against the Red Storm and also dished out eight assists, and is slowly creeping up the conference leaderboard in that category, trailing only teammate Czar Robotham for total assists with 44.
Shamsud-din also gave out six more assists against Cal Baptist, and although he only scored nine points, he still leads the PacWest in total points scored at 201 total points. Ameer also holds the season-high for points scored (32), and is tied with teammate William Overton, Jr. for the most 20-plus point games, with four.
His efforts last week garnered him a selection to the PacWest Top 10 Honor Roll, his fifth selection of this season.
