Sophomore forward Alisa Griggs had a week to remember after she set the new Academy of Art University program rebound record for a single game on Jan. 30 against Dominican. The Milwaukie, OR native, a member of the PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll, secured 23 rebounds (11 on the offensive glass) and had her seventh double-double of the year after the first half alone. She would average 15.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game for the week.

“Alisa had a monster game, the stats speak for themselves," head coach LaNay Larson said. "She just outworks people and always gives great effort so I couldn't be happier for her to have a game like that.”

Three nights later, Griggs was back at it, scoring 10 points and grabbing six rebounds in a 70-61 victory over Notre Dame de Namur. She remains the team leader in scoring (13.4 ppg) as well as rebounding (8.5 rpg).
