Stuart Favretto played a big part in the Urban Knights program record round last week, shooting the second-lowest score in the final round to end the Cal Baptist University Spring Break Invite tied for third place overall. His round of 68 was the first in a series of outstanding scores for the Knights, each of whom improved by at least five strokes over the first round.
"Stuart has been great at leading by example," said head coach Cheryl Lala about her lone senior. "His work ethic is fantastic. He works so hard during practice that it's just business as usual once he gets out on the course."
Favretto's score of 68 was a career low, and the team round of 284 was also a program record, which was good enough to take almost 30 strokes off of the Urban Knights first round score and place them in the top five for the first time this year, within striking distance of the top spots.
