Myles Babitt has been doing it all year with the bat, but last week in Hawaii performed on all sides of the ball, pitching and hitting his way to a strong finish to the end of his freshman season. The left-fielder went 8-for-25 in Hawaii, good for a .320 average, and had four runs and three RBIs over on the islands. He also started two games for the Urban Knights, pitching 9.0 innings and giving up six earned runs, striking out seven. ART U won the first game in Hilo on a seventh-inning rally, but then lost Babitt's second outing on a sixth-inning comeback effort by Hawaii Pacific

Babitt finishes the year with the second-best batting average on the team (.272), only behind his older brother Zach. He also had the second most hits, RBIs, and doubles. On the mound, he'll end the year with an 0-0 record but 16.0 innings pitched and emerged as a surprisingly effective option for the Knights as their pitching staff depth took a hit due to injuries.
