Freshman Nina Gajdosikova made major contributions to the Urban Knights' 8-1 victory over Dominican this past Sunday. Battling back from an injury to to start with an 8-2 doubles win alongside teammate Daniela Amelunge Antelo, Gajdosikova then rallied following a first set loss at the #1 singles position. She pushed her match against Irina Morozova into the third set and ended up taking home a 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 victory.

Now the owner of a 4-1 singles record and a 7-1 doubles record, Gajdosikova continues to play top-notch tennis this season. Academy of Art is now 8-1 overall after this past week's win.
